Zeaxanthin

Term

(3,3���-dihydroxy-β-carotene, xanthophyll) – one of the most common plant pigments (yellow-orange). Especially abundant in corn and sea buckthorn berries. It is also found in algae and bacteria. It can be free and esterified (dipalmitate). Mr – 568.85.
