Sweating – the secretion of sweat. Sweating is regulated by the nervous system. When excited, drinking plenty of fluids, in hot weather, during physical exertion, sweating occurs more. Night sweats – may be an early sign of tuberculosis, bacterial infection. Sweating is more common in various neurological disorders, hormonal imbalances, taking certain medications (such as antidepressants), and hypoglycemia (low blood glucose levels).
