Sweating – the secretion of sweat. Sweating is regulated by the nervous system. When excited, drinking plenty of fluids, in hot weather, during physical exertion, sweating is more intense. Night sweats – can be an early sign of tuberculosis, bacterial infection. Increased sweating is common in various neurological disorders, hormonal imbalances, when taking certain medications (such as antidepressants), in cases of hypoglycemia (low blood glucose levels).
