Sweating – the secretion of sweat. Sweating is regulated by the nervous system. When excited, drinking plenty of fluids, in hot weather, during physical exertion, sweating occurs more. Night sweats – may be an early sign of tuberculosis, bacterial infection. Increased sweating is observed in various neurological diseases, hormonal imbalance, when taking certain medications (such as antidepressants), in case of hypoglycemia (low blood glucose levels).
