Structure

Term

The fundamental concept that describes the arrangement of elements of any object’s structure and their relationships. In other words, structure defines the composition of any system (abstract or concrete). For example, the structures of macromolecules – proteins’ primary, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary structures, nucleic acids’ structure, etc.
