Semen
Semen – a fluid composed of spermatozoa and accessory gland secretions that is usually ejaculated during coitus. The pH of semen is 7.2. The ejaculation of semen is called ejaculation. Semen is grayish, viscous, cloudy, has a specific odor, and is weakly alkaline. Semen contains not only mature spermatozoa, but also other spermatogenesis cells, proteins, amino acids, enzymes, glucose, fructose, citric acid, and other substances. After 15-30 minutes post ejaculation, it liquefies. The volume of semen is 1-10 ml, on average – about 3-4 ml.
