Seborea

Term

A pathological skin condition resulting from the secretion of sebaceous glands and changes in the normal composition of skin oils. It most commonly affects the skin of the face and hairy parts of the body. Depending on the weakening or exacerbation of these changes, seborrhea is classified as oily or dry. Seborrhea is characterized by a particularly high amount of dandruff and intense itching. It is an inflammatory skin disease.
