Organism

Term

This is a biological system characterized by different hierarchical levels of organization (molecular, cellular, tissue, etc.). It is an independently existing unit of the organic world (animal, plant, or microorganism, a living element of nature) with many properties (metabolism, growth, development, reproduction, heredity, etc.), which distinguish it from the inanimate nature. It is influenced by various environmental factors. An organism can exist by interacting with the environment, which helps it renew itself.
