Microhematuria

Microhematuria refers to the presence of a small amount of blood in the urine, which is not visible to the naked eye but can be detected through microscopic examination or urine tests. It can be a sign of various underlying conditions, including:

  • Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
  • Kidney stones
  • Bladder or kidney infections
  • Inflammation of the urinary tract
  • Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)
  • Kidney disease or injury
