Follicle

There is a small formation that has a cavity. It can be a tooth follicle, hair follicle, lymph follicle, ovarian element where the egg cell matures (Graafian follicle). On the 7th-8th day of the menstrual cycle after the first day of menstruation, one main follicle is released. It is a large vesicle filled with proteins, oocytes, it develops faster than others, matures completely within 28-30 days, and bursts.
