Dermatan sulfate

Dermatan sulfate – a glycosaminoglycan (mucopolysaccharide), a linear polymer composed of repeating disaccharides. Dermatan sulfate is composed of iduronic acid linked by an α-1,3 bond to N-acetyl-D-galactosamine 4-sulfate, which further links by an α-1,4 bond to another residue of iduronic acid.
