Cholecystitis

This is inflammation of the gallbladder. It starts when bile flow from the gallbladder is disrupted or when bacteria from the blood, lymph, or duodenum enter the gallbladder. Inflammation changes occur in the gallbladder wall, as they progress, pus accumulates in the gallbladder, it can gangrene or rupture.
