Autoimmune diseases

This condition arises from the immune system’s intolerance to the body’s own components. Several factors determine this intolerance:
- Cross-Reactions: Occur between the body’s substances and foreign substances.
- Immune Intolerance: Happens to body substances not usually reached by immune system components.
- Structural Changes: Changes in the structure of body substances.
- Cell Activation: Certain body cells activate and decrease immune tolerance.
This intolerance is characteristic of various diseases, including:
- Nervous system disorders
- Multiple sclerosis
- Autoimmune thyroid changes (e.g., Hashimoto’s thyroiditis)
- Bacterial eye inflammation
- Severe myasthenia
- Erythema
- Chronic rheumatism
- Chronic liver inflammation
- Certain forms of chronic eye inflammation
