A stinging sensation around the genital organs involves a sharp, prickling, or burning feeling. This uncomfortable symptom varies in intensity and duration, and often accompanies other symptoms such as itching, redness, swelling, or discharge.
Possible Causes:
Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs), yeast infections, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) such as herpes, chlamydia, and gonorrhea, diabetes, irritant or allergic contact dermatitis, lichen sclerosus, hormonal changes (e.g., menopause), vulvodynia.
