Recurrent bacterial pneumonia
Recurrent bacterial pneumonia involves multiple episodes of pneumonia, where bacteria consistently infect the lungs. Symptoms typically include persistent cough, fever, chest pain, and difficulty breathing. Patients might experience frequent respiratory infections that seem to resolve and then return. Factors such as weakened immune systems, chronic diseases, or structural lung abnormalities often contribute to the recurrence of these infections. Early and effective treatment is crucial to managing and preventing further episodes.
