Rapid weight gain
Rapid weight gain involves a quick increase in body weight over a short period. This symptom can manifest due to overeating, fluid retention, hormonal imbalances, or the use of certain medications, including anabolic steroids. Individuals may notice a significant increase in body fat or muscle mass, often accompanied by swelling in various parts of the body. Rapid weight gain can increase the strain on the heart and joints, leading to other health complications if not addressed.
