This symptom indicates the absence of an elevated body temperature. Despite other symptoms that might be present, the individual does not experience a fever, which is generally defined as a body temperature above 38°C (100.4°F). This can be an important diagnostic clue, suggesting that the condition might not be related to an active infection or inflammatory response that typically causes fever.
