Myelitis – inflammation of the spinal cord, characterized by progressive weakness of the muscles in the arms and legs, paralysis, and impaired movements. Myelitis also causes sensory disturbances – numbness, burning, tingling, and can lead to urinary incontinence or retention, constipation.
