Memory loss involves difficulty remembering information, events, or experiences. This can affect short-term memory, such as forgetting recent conversations or misplacing items, or long-term memory, such as losing track of past events or familiar names. Memory loss can interfere with daily activities, work, and social interactions. It is a common symptom of conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other cognitive impairments.
