An irregularly shaped nodule is a raised lesion on the skin that does not have a uniform, circular appearance. Instead, its borders are uneven, asymmetric, or jagged. These nodules can vary in size and color, and may be flesh-colored, red, or pigmented depending on the underlying condition. Irregularly shaped nodules can be associated with a variety of dermatological conditions, including:
- Seborrheic Keratosis: Often has an irregular, warty surface.
- Skin Cancer: Such as melanoma, which may present with irregular borders and varied pigmentation.
- Benign Growths: Like dermatofibromas, which can be irregular in shape.
