Dystonian movements involve involuntary muscle contractions that cause repetitive or twisting movements and abnormal postures. These movements can affect various parts of the body, leading to distorted and uncomfortable positions. It often interferes with normal activities and requires management through medication, physical therapy, or other medical interventions to improve the individual’s quality of life.
