Drop in blood pressure
Drop in blood pressure, or hypotension, occurs when blood pressure falls below the normal range. Symptoms can include dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, blurred vision, nausea, fatigue, and trouble concentrating. In severe cases, it can lead to shock, a life-threatening condition. Hypotension can result from dehydration, prolonged bed rest, certain medications, heart problems, or endocrine issues. Monitoring and treating the underlying cause can help manage this condition effectively.
