First Medical Aid
FIRST AID
Injuries or acute conditions are not our everyday companions, but when they occur, help must be provided in a qualified and timely manner. No matter what happens (a simple puncture or a serious fracture, heatstroke or drowning), in all cases, human actions must adhere to rational principles of assistance and the latest medical knowledge.
This section provides detailed and understandable principles of diagnosis and first aid, preserving life and protecting health in cases of injuries and acute conditions.
First aid is just one of many ways to help a person, and each way can not only help but also harm. Therefore, when faced with real situations or circumstances, it is best to follow the principle of prudence, aiming to assess the risk, protect oneself, not harm the victim, and provide assistance. It is often very tempting to take responsibility for all ongoing events, so it is important to understand that success does not always crown our efforts. Some conditions are fatal or determined to end in failure, so in each situation, the goal should not be absolute results, but to do the best that can be done.
Duties and responsibilities are invisible forces that determine the effectiveness and spread of first aid. We want to not define these factors in letter of the law (this has already been done), but to unleash them, providing powerful knowledge and skills that can help save a human life.
We imagine a first aid provider as a person free from fears and ignorance, motivated, willing, and able to use their skills in necessary life situations.
