Description of the disease
Symptoms
Patients who smoke and consume alcohol heavily are more likely to suffer from throat cancer. Common symptoms include: a persistent cough lasting more than 3 weeks, difficulty swallowing, ear pain when swallowing, swollen neck lymph nodes. Treatment involves chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgical operation, and voice rehabilitation.
