Cervical inflammatory disease
Cervical inflammation – inflammation of the cervix, during which purulent fluid separates and the cervix is very bloody. This disease occurs frequently and often is asymptomatic. Untreated disease can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease, which can result in infertility or chronic pelvic pain. Caused by sexually transmitted diseases. Increased risk is present in 15-25 year old girls, lack of condom use, multiple sexual partners, new sexual relationships, history of sexually transmitted infections, bacterial vaginosis, prostitutes.
