Black hair dyed orange color

Symptoms
Related diseases

Black hair dyed orange color often indicates severe nutritional deficiencies. This symptom most commonly appears in children with kwashiorkor, a form of protein malnutrition. The lack of essential nutrients disrupts melanin production, leading to the hair losing its natural pigment. As a result, the hair becomes brittle, thin, and takes on an orange or reddish hue. Other conditions, such as zinc or copper deficiencies, can also cause similar changes in hair color. Addressing the underlying nutritional deficiencies can help restore normal hair pigmentation and overall health.
