Grinding during sleep, known as bruxism, involves the clenching or grinding of teeth. This condition can produce a distinctive grinding sound, often loud enough to disturb sleep. Symptoms include jaw pain, headaches, and worn-down teeth. Bruxism is often linked to stress, anxiety, or misaligned teeth.
